Hot tip: the Cats Against Against Anxiety deck may be your new favorite thing. We keep it in one of the social work offices at the arts high school I work with teens at and it really does the trick.Â
If you're feeling anxious about your writing, writing practice, writing career....anything with your creativity: let's have a Breakthrough Call! We can look at anything that is currently holding you back and untangle Christmas lights in your head, as one of my writers says these calls do for her. Let's get you some Aha! moments. Send me a message below. Rates are here.
Getting cozy is my #1 way as a writer to combat anxiety, and there is nothing cozier than reading a cozy book while cozy, am I right?
Two current super cozy reads I've enjoyed recently: Evie Dunmore's suffragist romance series (a true delight) and this - the only robot I have ever really liked (read book one first - this book just gives me hope in a non-terrifying future). It's time for sweaters and thick socks and good books! If you live in a hot place, just got to the coldest coffee house around and I'm sure you'll need the socks and sweater (OMG, is it just me or is everywhere FREEZING?).Â
I hope we can all feel this level of coziness as we move into the contemplative autumn season.
Be well, friends!
