One last thing..As I pondered your post this afternoon, I kept calling to mind the fabulous Stacey Abrams who uses the pen name Selena Montgomery when she writes her romance novels. (A distinct "need" to keep her politician persona separate from her writerly one.)

Oh, Heather, this is ever so helpful for me. I've been secretly working on a cozy fantasy and pondering if I continue to write under my own name or come up with another. You know I was worried about you taking something else on (your work stands on its own merits!!!! social media is not a substitute for an actual marketing team and budget!!! URGLLLL okay /endrant-for-now.) But I am so so happy you’re proving me wrong—you figured out how to make it fun and nourishing and you’re doing it for the right reasons. I also know you’ll pivot if at some point this stops being fun. Self awareness is our ultimate superpower when it comes to mental health!! 🥰😘
